Delete Your Account or Data

There are two ways to delete your account:

a) Directly in the app (recommended)

Open elephAi → Profile → Preferences → Data → Delete Account. Confirming will delete your account and associated data immediately and permanently.

b) By email

Email software.development@unwindminds.com with the subject line “Delete my elephAi account” from the email address associated with your account.

We will confirm your request and complete it within the following 30 days.

Data is stored on Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure.

We retain data only while your account is active.

You may delete your account at any time; associated data is removed or anonymised within 30 days and/or upon specific request. When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:

• Your profile information (name, email, life-stage data) from Firebase Storage
• Documents linked to your user ID
• Your mood check-in history and reflections
• Your chat and conversation history
• Any biometric or wearable data connected to your account
• Your subscription and billing identifiers (subject to RevenueCat’s own retention rules)

We do not retain copies or model outputs after deletion.

OpenAI does not store or retain any of your data.

If you are located in the EU, or another region with data-protection laws, you have rights to:

• Access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data
• Request a copy (data portability)
• Withdraw consent at any time (this may limit functionality)

• Anonymized, de-identified usage data, retained for product improvement — cannot be linked back to you
• Records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, retained only for the period required by applicable law

Because a number of elephAi features depend on AI-assisted analysis of your mood, personal history, and chat interactions using proprietary logic and third-party AI models (such as OpenAI), withdrawing consent to AI processing will disable features that rely on those capabilities.

Your right to withdraw consent also applies to processing via any AI provider used by elephAi. Withdrawing consent will disable any features that rely on AI assisted analysis.

You may withdraw consent at any time by updating your profile settings in the App. You may also withdraw consent by contacting support at software.development@unwindminds.com or by deleting your account in the app.

You can also request deletion of specific data types without deleting your entire account (for example, chat history or mood tracker history only).

If you withdraw consent and request data deletion, all previously uploaded images and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request being submitted.
